About My Practice
Do you feel "stuck" in your life or find yourself repeating patterns
and not know why? Are you unsure how to change? I help clients to
develop greater understanding about themselves and their motivations,
and find ways to live fuller more satisfying lives. Change and growth
are possible and an important step down that path is finding the right
therapist for you. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and I work
with adults of all ages in individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. Please visit my website at www.drbalaban.com to learn more about my practice.
About Me
Professionally I divide my time between two places. I work in private
practice in Rosendale, NY, at the Rosendale Family Therapy Center --
located near New Paltz and Kingston. I also work
as a Senior Counselor and Eating Disorders Specialist at the
Psychological Counseling Center at SUNY New Paltz. Across these two
settings I provide both time limited and long-term psychotherapy to
individuals, couples, and groups. I also provide mental health
consultation services, supervise therapists in training, and frequently
give talks on issues such as eating disorders, depression, and
diversity. To learn more about me visit my website at www.drbalaban.com.
