I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been practicing in this area for many years.  I have a great deal of experience providing support to children, adolescents and families coping with numerous issues including, but not limited to, decision-making, self-esteem, mood-management, relationships, sexual identity, family issues, and substance abuse.  Prior to working in private practice I worked in the local public school systems for 17 years.  My experience in the schools enables me to be a good support to children and adolescents coping with school-related issues, and to parents navigating the school system.  I use a number of approaches in my work and strive to provide a safe, comfortable environment to help clients of all ages address whatever challenges they are facing, to feel better in their lives.
