Attachment Parenting Skills Group (Saugerties)

Cost: For 8 sessions, $320 per Person or $280 each for 2 Participants with Family/Friend Discount. Payment plan available. 

Group Meets: Eight (8) Tuesdays from April 9 – MAY 28 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM in the Village of Saugerties

Target Clients: Parents who have these concerns about their elementary-age children: Overdependence on Social Media & Video Games; Depression; Anxiety including School / Social Anxiety; Shuƫting Down; Defiance; Acting Out; Verbal / Physical Aggression; Attachment Issues; Adjustment Issues; Emotional Isolation; Sibling Conflict; and Upside Down Family Structure in which the Child wants to be the Parent

Group Description: Help children feel safe, loved, and accepting of your guidance.  Emotionally nourish yourself and your family. Compassionately understand the “buttons” that trigger reactivity or “shutdown”.  Become “unstuck” from this dynamic through innovative strategies, psychodramatic action techniques, somatic grounding, and emotional support.  Learn to set needed limits and boundaries while building attachment.  Learn how to use your nervous system to help you and your child self-regulate and become more deeply connected.  Become the more positively responsive and calm parent you want to be.
